Overview
Civil Litigation
Alex represents clients in multiple state and federal courts across the country. He has nearly ten years of experience litigating all types of complex commercial matters, including business torts, business divorce, contracts, construction, employment, financial services, general fraud, intellectual property, and securities and financial fraud. He also has extensive experience representing clients in white collar criminal defense and internal investigations cases and counseling clients on regulatory enforcement matters with the DOJ and SEC.
Relevant Work Experience
In addition to his time in private practice, Alex spent a year serving as an AUSA in the General Crimes Unit and White Collar Crime Unit for the United States Department of Justice (United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee) where he gained valuable investigative, courtroom, and trial experience, focusing on a wide range of violent crimes, firearms and narcotics offenses, and complex health care and financial fraud. Prior to becoming an attorney, Alex worked in finance for Raymond James, Inc. in the Asset Management Division, which provided him unique insight into corporate and investment finance and capital markets.

Out + About
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys volunteering with different organizations in Denver, along with practically every outdoor activity imaginable. Alex grew up skiing and snowboarding in Vermont, including being on the ski race team and being a ski and snowboard instructor. He also continues to hone his tennis and language skills and loves reading anything finance related in his spare time.
